Watch Next (the "app") is a client for tracking what to watch next on Simkl and Trakt. This policy explains what the app does with your data. It does not change the privacy policies of the third-party services it connects to, which apply to data you keep with them.
Anonymous product analytics and uncaught exception reports, via PostHog. Each event includes the page URL, referrer, basic device and browser info, a randomly-generated anonymous ID, and — for crashes — the exception message and stack trace. No account info, watch history, or API keys are sent. Collection is disabled when your browser sends the Do-Not-Track signal.
The developer (Luís Soares) does not run any other backend, does not receive any other data, and does not share or sell any data.
Everything is stored locally in the app's storage. Clearing the app's data or signing out removes it.
All network calls go directly from your device to these providers. The developer never sees the requests or responses.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
